MITRE Work-study Research Assistants
This program is a collaboration between MITRE and the Office of Student Scholarship, Creative Activities, and Research at George Mason University. This mentorship program connects MITRE employees to an interested student at George Mason University who meets federal work-study eligibility. During this experience, the students work on a cutting-edge research project the was proposed by their MITRE supervisor. For the student, their Federal Work-Study wages are being used to offset some of the costs of college attendance and the supervision that MITRE employees are providing will shape their experience and education, and put them on the path to a bright future!
