Working Groups

Working groups play a vital role in driving progress across the university—advancing strategic priorities, improving operations, and fostering innovation through collaborative problem-solving.

Internal Survey Development Working Group

The Internal Survey Development Working Group is charged with developing a clear and actionable framework for approving, prioritizing, and administering internal surveys.

Online Education Working Group

The Online Education Review Working Group (OEWG) has submitted its final proposed recommendations to the provost, and its work has ended. Following review, the provost is convening a time-limited implementation working group to advance Recommendation 1 (Adopt a Unified Set of Operational Definitions for Online Education) and Recommendation 5 (Update Existing and Develop New Policies).

The Online Education Policy Implementation Working Group is charged with building on two key recommendations of the OEWG and updating existing policies, or where needed, creating new policies that reflect the university’s current online footprint and aligning institutional practices with federal, state, and accreditor expectations.

Budget Model Initiative Working Groups

The budget model initiative is a university-wide effort to improve alignment of resource allocation and incentivize progress toward key strategic goals. The governance structure includes four working groups whose charges are available on the budget model initiative’s Governance and Committees webpage.

  • Cost of Space Working Group
  • Indirect Cost Working Group
  • Fee Simplification Working Group
  • Cross College Program Working Group
