Darren Troxler has joined the Office of the Provost as the Executive Director of External Transfer Articulation and Chief Transfer Officer. He previously served as the Associate Dean of Admissions and Strategic Initiatives, Assistant Dean of Admissions, and Director of Admissions Operations in the Division of Enrollment Management supporting the university’s transfer enrollment. In his new role within Academic Affairs, Troxler will continue to build relationships with community colleges both in Virginia and in surrounding states. He will also work with academic units to build potential partnerships with other four-year institutions in Virginia. As Chief Transfer Officer, Troxler will continue to represent the university to the State Committee on Transfer in developing new transfer partnerships and strengthening institutional transfer policy.
