Mason Korea welcomed its newest class at the Fall 2025 Convocation in the Incheon Global Campus Grand Auditorium, where more than 200 new students, family members, faculty, staff, and current students came together to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year.

In an interview with Incheon Ilbo, Joshua Park, campus dean of Mason Korea, emphasized collaboration with international universities to attract global talent to the Incheon Global Campus.

Mason Korea recently hosted the opening ceremony for its Korea Serious Game Institute (KSGI), marking the global expansion of George Mason University’s Virginia Serious Game Institute (VSGI), which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.

Nearly 20 journalists from national and local media outlets came to the Mason Korea campus in Songdo to hear George Mason University’s newest dean, Joshua Park, talk about his vision for the international campus.

George Mason University has named Joshua Park the new dean of Mason Korea, effective August 19, 2024. Park is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in business education in South Korea, recognized for his expertise in negotiation, debate, and mediation.
